Learn about the SCARF model and what recent neuroscience is discovering about how & why humans behave and interact the way they do at certain times. Implementing the SCARF model can help you both personally and professionally appreciate, anticipate, mitigate and/or proactively encourage certain behaviors. The SCARF model also helps us understand and implement best practices in the classroom for students, is rooted in good pedagogy and directly supports our district MTSS and SEL goals.
Meg has taught social studies at Nevada High School for 22 years and has been an instructional guide for eight years. She also coaches students, teachers and sports teams in mindfulness.
