Autistic youth have challenges with reading social cues and making friends. This session will give a couple strategies for you to teach to help them figure out the rules to making friends.
This session is geared towards Elementary teachers wanting to start the year off with a positive classroom community with effective behavior management strategies. This session will include evidence-based interventions centered around The Classroom Check-Up model. You will walk away with strategies that you can implement in your classroom and start the year off on the right foot.
In this session, we will offer ideas for brief, individualized letter-learning opportunities that are developmentally appropriate and fun. Our target audience is teachers of preschool-aged students or students in SPED who need more 1:1 support. We will talk through how we make letter learning meaningful for the students and manageable for us.
Our profession is demanding and can lead to emotional exhaustion and burnout but can also bring great joy. In this session we will look at how enhanced physical, mental, emotional and social well-being lead to educator wellness.
